Tree Trimming & Pruning
Promote healthy growth and stunning appearance with expert trimming and structural pruning by our certified arborists.
Overgrown lots, brush lines and building footprints cleared to the boundary you mark — with the trees worth keeping still standing.
Whether you are putting up an addition, fencing a boundary, opening a view or reclaiming a back lot that has spent fifteen years growing buckthorn, clearing is mostly a question of deciding what stays. Getting that judgement right is the difference between a usable lot and a bare one.
We clear to the line you mark, work selectively where you want mature specimens retained, and protect the root zones of anything staying — the most common way a good tree is lost during a build is not the saw, it is machinery compacting the soil over its roots.
Scrub, saplings, thickets and invasive growth cut and chipped, taking an overgrown lot back to usable ground.
You mark what stays. We take out the rest and keep equipment off the root zones of the trees you are keeping.
Footprints for additions, garages, sheds, pools and driveways cleared and grubbed ready for excavation.
Clean corridors cut for new fencing, property lines, drainage runs and service trenches.
Stumps ground or grubbed out where the ground has to carry structure, paving or new turf.
Material chipped on site for reuse as mulch, or hauled away entirely — whichever suits the project.
From a single overgrown corner to a full lot. If it needs opening up, it is worth a conversation.
Book an AssessmentWe go over the property with you, agree the clearing limits, and flag the trees and features that stay.
A written price covering clearing limits, stump handling and debris disposal, plus any permits the work requires.
Work proceeds to the marked line with protection fencing around retained trees and their root zones.
Debris cleared, ground raked and left workable for the next trade — or seedable if the project stops here.
It depends on the municipality and the scale. Clearing brush inside your own yard rarely needs anything. Larger clearing, work near a designated wetland or watercourse, and anything tied to a building permit usually does — and some towns regulate removal of trees above a certain diameter. We check what applies at your address as part of the quote.
That is what selective clearing is for, and it is worth doing properly. Flag the trees you want retained and we will work around them, keep machinery off the critical root zone and fence it where needed. Soil compaction over the roots during clearing kills more retained trees than the clearing itself does — usually two or three years later, when nobody connects the two events.
Your choice. Brush is normally chipped, and the chips can be left on site as mulch for beds and paths or hauled away. Larger wood can be cut to firewood length and stacked, or removed. Keeping the chips on site is the cheaper option and often the more useful one.
By the acreage or area involved, how dense the growth is, the size and number of trees coming out, whether stumps need grubbing, and how much material has to leave the site. Access matters too — a lot a chipper can drive onto costs less to clear than one everything has to be carried out of. All estimates are free and on site.
